Aldo and Sharon have operated Gilbertsville Farmhouse as a wedding and retreat venue since 2014. In 2017, their children gifted them two Nigerian dwarf goat babies. They fell in love and bought three more the very next week. After watching their new goat babies sprint around the farm, jumping happily on anything they could reach, the idea for goat yoga was born, and the rest is history!

MANAGER & INSTRUCTOR

Vanessa has been teaching yoga for over 7 years, and she is our lead goat yoga instructor, as well as our NY Goat Yoga Manager. She has her 200hr ashtanga yoga certification, and she’s also aerial yoga certified! She loves goat yoga so much that she not only teaches our classes but also works behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly with logistics, planning, sales, marketing, and social media.

ANIMAL MANAGER

Katie is our “goat mama” of over 7 years -– and we mean that quite literally because she’s our goat doula who helps deliver our baby goats every birthing season. She’s like a goat whisperer who helps with just about everything when it comes to our precious animals. Our herd is well cared for and appropriately spoiled because of Katie’s knowledge and attention.

BARN HAND

Nate is our jump in to help with anything and everything guy. He is a much-welcomed helping and kind hand to our team, and he takes a big weight off their shoulders by helping to keep the barn clean and ensure the goats are always fed and happy.

BARN HAND & GOAT HANDLER

Lilly is Katie’s right hand girl and goat doula in training. As our herd and business has grown, we’ve grown our goat-care team as well. Lilly adores our goats and always helps to ensure they’re well taken care of.
